This Month's Speaker

Dan Towey - Access Bars dantowey.jpg

Dan Towey is a successful, established LMT who entered the Massage Profession in 1992 and the Wellness Industry 24 years ago.  After graduation from the Florida School of Massage with 1,100+ hours, Dan began exploring options with several certifications including Sports and Injury Recovery.  He became involved with the FSMTA and realized a dream of becoming a 1996 USA Olympic LMT while also co-ordinating the Central FL chapter’s Sports Massage Team. He’s also honored to have mentored hundreds for the last two decades. Dan has employed part-time with several chiropractors, three prestigious spas, sports race management and chair massage companies while building a client base. Being an active and highly competitive age-group triathlete for 18 years gifted Dan with several injuries (never once requiring surgery) which in turn had direct application for his clients.

By the late 1990’s, he sought to increase his holistic wellness knowledge via Naturopathic Medicine studies by exploring  a body, mind, spirit, soul and emotion approach with Energy Medicine. Becoming a Reiki Master, an ADL Ordained Minister, a Regression, Inner Journey and Meditation Facilitator and BodyTalk practitioner supported his client’s growing coaching requests. Motivated and frustrated with his own chiropractic care after a car accident, Dan was quickly led to training in CranioSacral, BioCranial, Cranial Structural and Cranial Release Technique which he now also serves as an assistant instructor.

In 2010, an un-diagnosed 38-year bout with lyme disease placed Dan’s life on the line. Knowing that his “outside the box” philosophy and discipline as an athlete could get him through, his realized his ‘tool kit’ was still incomplete. In January 2011, he was introduced to Access Bars™ and Access Consciousness™.  He states “Access Tools have finally affirmed my knowing that answering a question with a question is the RIGHT WAY!” By continually being and living in the question, energy continues to flow and allows us to grow. What creates limitation is our stored thoughts, feelings, emotions and belief systems. So if we aspire to a holistic approach to life, living and loving then isn’t a multi-pronged approach to “Health-ing People is Wealth-ing People” the correct way?
