Integrative Pregnancy Massage-20 CEUS
Pregnancy Massage Certification

Integrative Pregnancy Massage is a certification course for massage therapists and allied health care practitioners interested in the techniques, parameters and indications of therapeutic massage and bodywork for pregnant clients. The course begins with a thorough analysis of the anatomy and physiology of the pregnancy, labor and post-part um period from both a Western and Traditional Chinese Medical perspective.
We will discuss the treatment of common and high risk conditions, appropriate positioning, props, maintaining records and liability concerns. Participants will become aquatinted the parameters of employing adjunctive massage modalities, hydro and spa therapies, reflexology and acupressure techniques.
Participants will learn techniques for integrating essential oils, acupressure points and advanced techniques for the enhancement of their effects in pregnant, laboring and postpartum clients. Participants will be required to both give and receive a side lying massage. Please bring sheets, lotion, and 3 standard pillows.
Completion of the 20 hour course, competency in both written and practical examination, and 3 completed case studies leads to a Certification in Pregnancy Massage and recognition as a qualified practitioner in our data base at: www.integrativetouch.net

Aroma Lava Shell Massage.

12 FL Massage and NCBTMB Ce’s. Discover how to use recycled clam shell in either a cold or hold therapy treatment. Participants will learn how to create an aromatherapy massage blend to meet their client’s specific needs.

Participants will also learn how to perform a shell facial massage (cold) and a body massage (warm)

Two day workshop includes the cost of one shell and lava activator. Class meets noon-6pm on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday April 25. Cost of class is $199 advance, $250 at door. Now through December 2010, bring a friend and they pay ½ the cost of their class when paying together.

Choose one day for 8 FL Massage and NCBTMB Ce’s or both days for a total of 16 FL Massage and NCBTMBC Ces general with focus on massage live workshop. Discover how to use a variety of different tuning forks in a massage session. Participants will learn how to use certain tuning forks to meet their client’s specific needs.

Class meets from 10am-7pm on Saturday, May 8 for Level One Certification & on Sunday, May 9 for the Level Two Certification. Cost of EACH day of class is $299 advance, $350 at door. Now through December 2010, bring a friend and they pay ½ the cost of their class when paying together.

Cost of class includes all tuning forks, books, hand-outs and certificates. Students will also be listed on the Tuning Fork Therapy official website as practitioners.
